The best destinations to satisfy the desire for a holiday

Italy offers a rich variety of panoramas and landscapes, which are tinged with suggestive colors especially in autumn. October is the ideal month to discover some of the most beautiful places in our country in a less touristy way.

Here are our favorite destinations:

PADUA - Walking in the heart of Veneto, between Venice and Verona, a stone's throw from the Euganean hills, it is a particularly dynamic and creative city. Walking along the arcades and among its squares you can discover the charm of this city wrapped in the suggestive autumnal atmosphere but it is inside the Scrovegni Chapel that you will find a real explosion of colors. In October, take a journey between past and present, between millenary history, traditions and art.

MILAN - There is always a good reason to take a trip to Milan: distinct, inclusive, green and cosmopolitan, with an eye to the future and always full of surprising news. In October, you can still indulge in outdoor walks to discover the Porta Venezia district, one of the areas in which to see some of the most beautiful buildings in Milan: this is where you must come to admire the jewels of Liberty architecture in the city. And then a tour of the Montanelli Gardens where, in this green oasis, you can also find some of the monumental trees of Milan

Events not to be missed in October in Milan: Walking from Villa Necchi Campiglio towards the Indro Montanelli Gardens, stop to peek through the hedges that surround the building in via Cappuccini 7: a colony of pink flamingos lives in the garden of Villa Invernizzi. Get your camera ready!

BOLOGNA - Ideal in October for lovers of music and good food. Routes dedicated to the discovery and memory of the most beautiful and famous songs of Lucio Dalla, to the gastronomic tour from the sector fairs to the Mercato di Mezzo, a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore.
