A recognition that speaks of history, continuity and quality
We are proud to share an important milestone: iH Hotels Milano Ambasciatori has been named a winner of the “Historic and High-Quality Hospitality Establishments 2025” recognition, promoted by Regione Lombardia.
The initiative recognises hospitality businesses with over 50 years of uninterrupted operation, able to demonstrate long-term managerial continuity, historical value and high standards of hospitality. This award goes beyond the present, telling a story shaped by hospitality, evolution and a deep connection with the local area.
Over 50 years of hospitality in the heart of Milan
Over the years, the hotel has continuously renewed itself while preserving its historic identity and adapting to the needs of a constantly evolving city. This balance between tradition and innovation is one of the key factors behind the recognition.
Located just steps from Piazza Duomo, iH Hotels Milano Ambasciatori has been a landmark for decades for those choosing Milan for business, leisure or major international events.
More than just a recognition
The “Historic and High-Quality Hospitality Establishments” recognition celebrates:
- the longevity of the hospitality business;
- uninterrupted operational continuity;
- a strong focus on service quality and the guest experience;
- the property’s contribution to the tourism development of the region.
Following the award, the hotel will receive an official plaque certifying the recognition.
A milestone that looks to the future
This recognition is not only a celebration of the past, but also a concrete motivation to continue investing in hospitality, comfort, and identity.
At a historic moment when Milan is preparing to host internationally significant events, such as the 2026 Winter Olympics, the value of high-quality historic establishments becomes even more central to the story of Italian hospitality.
This achievement is the result of the daily work of everyone who, over the years, has contributed to making iH Hotels Milano Ambasciatori a solid and recognized institution: the team, collaborators, and partners who share a common vision of hospitality.
We continue to look ahead, strengthened by a history that defines us and a quality that we strive to enhance every day.
