To fight against the Coronavirus, a fundraising campaign called "iH Hotels & Friends"
In this difficult time for our country, iH Hotels Group, a hotel chain with 26 properties in Italy, has decided to take an active role in supporting the fight against COVID-19 by launching a fundraising campaign through the GoFundMe platform.
Having learned that, with the spread of the epidemic, many hospitals are now overwhelmed and lack sufficient intensive care units to cope with the Coronavirus, a fundraising campaign was launched on March 18, 2020, by the entire management and staff of iH Hotels. A deeply felt and necessary mission, aimed at helping Italian hospitals during this emergency that affects us all. It is called “iH Hotels & Friends,” starting with a goal of €100,000, with the intent to convey a message of family, unity, collaboration, and positivity to win the battle against COVID-19 together.
With the hashtag #insiemesivince, used to promote donations, the message of cohesion and cooperation is being shared to overcome the difficulties of this period and emerge stronger than before. The idea was born from the entire Group, which, in addition to donating masks and prevention materials to hospitals, wants to actively participate in saving as many lives as possible and help restart the country’s economy as soon as possible.
iH Hotels Group is a large family, consisting of management and staff from 26 hotels across Italy, all of whom have decided to actively support this donation. Once the target of €200,000 is reached, the amount will be donated to the hospitals in cities where iH Hotels are present, to expand intensive care units, contribute to the construction of spaces, or purchase medical equipment in Milan, Rome, Florence, Bari, Bologna, Padua, and more.
With everyone’s help, it is possible to reach a common goal: to defeat the virus as soon as possible.
Every small donation can make a difference!
